MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY, BALTIMORE, MD. Assistant Professor. Eight (8) undergraduate courses/year (4/semester), departmental service may include recruitment of majors and minors, student advisement, programming, and committee work. Research and publishing should meet departmental standards for tenure and promotion. AOS: Social Philosophy AOC: Feminist Philosophy, Africana Philosophy, or Latin American Philosophy. The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Morgan State University is dedicated to publicly engaged philosophy in line with the university’s mission to give significant priority to addressing societal problems, particularly those prevalent in urban communities. Ability to teach Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, and Ethics is necessary. Ph.D. prior to appointment is required. EO/AAE.
