Postdoctoral Fellows (EXPIRED)

Beijing Normal University is one of the leading universities in China; the School of Philosophy of BNU ranks 51-100 in QS Rankings by subject in 2019. The Postdoctoral Research Station of the School of Philosophy is looking for both domestic and international postdoctoral fellows to work at Beijing Normal University (Beijing campus and Zhuhai campus).

Position description: We invite doctoral fellows from any subarea of philosophy for postdoctoral position in both Beijing Campus and Zhuhai Campus. This is a full-time research position for two years. The applicants can choose to work either in Campus Beijing or in Campus Zhuhai.

Stipend: (1) For Campus Beijing: Salary and welfare treatment will be implemented according to the relevant regulations of Beijing Normal University (including basic salary, allowance, social insurances and housing fund).

(2) For Campus Zhuhai: the total amount of salary will range from RMB 200,000 to RMB 400,000 per year (pre-tax and including social insurance) based on the applicant’s academic background and research achievements.

Eligibility: Obtained PhD degree from domestic and overseas reputable universities; had some academic achievements (either published articles in professional journals or books). Successful applicants should assure full-time work and hold no other post in any institutions.  

Requirement: In order to meet the qualification of the completion of postdoc in BNU, successful applicants shall publish either 3 papers in the leading professional journals (at least 1 SSCI or A&HCI paper ) as the first or corresponding author with Beijing Normal University as the first signatory during the period of the fellowship.
