Assistant/Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) (Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 100 %) to be appointed 1 October 2019 (Start date negotiable.) The initial appointment is for three years, with the possibility of an extension. Responsibilities and duties Responsibilities and duties include research, teaching (2 classes per semester), and service. Employment conditions To qualify for the position, applicants must have a PhD (or close to completion) in philosophy. Area of specialization: Philosophy of climate science, general philosophy of science, or philosophy of physics. The position is attached to the Chair for Theoretical Philosophy, especially Philosophy of Science (Professor Mathias Frisch). Part-time employment is possible.
