Full-time Lecturer(s) (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis is accepting applications for one or two full-time lecturers for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The area of specialization is open, but we have teaching needs in Applied Ethics (e.g., Bio- and Medical Ethics, Business Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Philosophy of Law), Philosophy of Science, and Philosophy of Mind (including Philosophy of Cognitive Science and Neuroscience).

Each lecturer will undertake duties equivalent to a full-time teaching load, which the university defines as at least 12 credit-hours of classroom teaching in each semester.

This position may include a combination of teaching, other departmental service, and advising as appropriate. This position is benefit-eligible. With successful performance, this position may be renewed.
