Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Loyola University New Orleans invites applications for a one-year full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy (AOS: History of Early Modern Philosophy, AOC: Open), beginning in fall 2019.

Loyola University is a highly selective, Jesuit, Catholic institution dedicated to the liberal arts and sciences, whose primary mission is undergraduate education. The position has a 4/4 teaching load, and the ability to teach a broad range of material is an advantage. The candidate is expected to excel in teaching. We prefer applicants to have a Ph.D. in philosophy, with degree in hand by August 2019. Priority will be given to applications received by March 15, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
