Lecturer in Moral and Political Philosophy (Medical Ethics)

We wish to appoint a full-time Lecturer (with eligibility for permanency) to start on or about 1 September, 2012. The postholder will be expected to contribute to teaching and research in the area of medical ethics (broadly conceived to include the ethics of health and/or social care). The postholder will be expected to carry out a range of teaching, research and administrative duties, and to contribute to the research mission of the School.

A PhD in Philosophy, evidence of research activity and experience of teaching in a higher education environment (particularly in the area of Moral and Political Philosophy) or the demonstrable potential to achieve this, are all essential.
