The University of North Alabama invites applications for a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor in the Philosophy program. AOS: Value Theory/Ethics, AOC: Open. The position will entail teaching four undergraduate courses per semester, at least three of the courses will be in Business Ethics. Candidates must offer evidence of teaching excellence and be prepared to teach courses in introductory philosophy. The position will begin August 2016 and is potentially renewable for additional years. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Philosophy. ABD candidates may apply but must provide assurance of completion of the degree by August 2016. This position requires that applicants attach an electronic copy of a cover letter, resume/cv, and reference list. Official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate but unofficial copies will be accepted for the application process.
