JOB SUMMARY:


The Clemson University Department of Philosophy and Religion seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow in Philosophy for the 2016-17 academic year.


JOB DUTIES:


We are looking for a particularly promising junior colleague interested in an active research and teaching mentoring program. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary as well as a modest expense account to support their activities. AOS: Open. AOC: Promise of excellence in both teaching and research, with the ability to teach Introduction to Logic and/or Introduction to Ethics. Candidates must have received their Ph.D within the past three years (no ABD's). The position is normally for a one-year period but may be renewable up to three years.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Ph.D in Philosophy within the past three years.


WORK SCHEDULE:


Standard Hrs: 37.5; Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.
