Lecturer (EXPIRED)

The Department of Languages, Philosophy, & Communication Studies at Utah State University invites applications for a one year lecturer in Philosophy, with the possibility of a one-year renewal. Candidates should have a M.A. Philosophy completed by August 14, 2016. Lecturers teach four courses per semester, including courses such as Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, general education courses, and upper-division courses related to the lecturer’s area of expertise. Excellence in teaching is an important qualification. Candidates also must be willing to mentor undergraduate students and will need to pass a background check, per university policy. ABD or Ph.D. candidates preferred.
