Job description

Visiting Professorship: Philosophy of law, one year Fall 2016/Spring 2017

Rank: Visiting Assistant Professor

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications. Generous health and other benefits, including domestic partner benefits

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Philosophy, or J.D or equivalent with evidence of philosophical scholarship, completed by August 2016

Responsibilities:  Teaching in the M.A. (including M.A. thesis support), B.A., and General Education programs, pre-law advising. Teaching courses in some of the following: Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Criminal Law, Philosophical Foundations of Law (at the graduate level), ethics, applied ethics topics, or other courses related to appointee’s research interests.
