Assistant Professor, Philosophy - Ancient Philosophy and Ethics (EXPIRED)

Teach undergraduate courses in Ancient Philosophy, as well as in ethics and other areas; develop a program of research; participate in departmental affairs as well as in the wider university community. The department aims to provide undergraduate majors with a superb education in Philosophy that will provide a solid basis for professional life or post-graduate study, and it makes a significant contribution to URI’s General Education program. We seek a person who wants to work congenially with us to shape a dynamic and innovative philosophy program.
