The Department of Philosophy and Religion at the University of North Texas invites applications for a lecturer with a broad background in religious studies or philosophy to teach a wide range of courses. This is a three-year, fulltime position to start Fall 2016. AOS: Open. AOC: Philosophy of Religion, Christianity, and Comparative Religions. The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load, including introductory and advanced-level courses. Required qualifications: Earned Ph.D. in religion, religious studies, or philosophy at the time of appointment, and university teaching experience. Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching Philosophy of Religion, World Religions, Christianity and Philosophy, Religion in American Society, Religion and Science, Philosophy of Self, Metaphysics, Ethical Theories, and Feminism or equivalent courses.
