Job description

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong invites applications for:

Associate Professor / Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy (Ref. 1516/099(430)/2), initially three-year contract from August 2016, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later. 4 courses/year (2/semester) in philosophy (undergraduate and postgraduate) and general education. Some thesis supervision. Usual non-teaching duties. AOS: continental European philosophy (competence in other domains of philosophy such as Greek philosophy or aesthetics will be an advantage); AOC: open. PhD or ABD. Salary competitive.
