Job description |
The philosophy department at Colgate University invites applications for a tenure-stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning fall semester 2016. AOS: Open. AOC: Either Kant and the Nineteenth Century or Medieval Philosophy. Completion of Ph.D. is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. In addition to teaching courses in philosophy, the successful candidate will be expected to teach in Colgate’s Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, three letters of recommendation, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a writing sample.
