Job description

The Department of Philosophy (http://philosophy.la.psu.edu) at the Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track).  Area of Specialization: Kant.  The department has particular needs in Kant’s theoretical philosophy.  AOC: Open.  Preference will be given to candidates whose work will augment the department’s longstanding strength in continental philosophy and its specialties in feminist philosophy and critical philosophy of race, all of which are approached through attention to the history of philosophy.  Teaching load: 2 courses per semester.
