Job description |
Assistant Professor, tenure track. Starting August 1, 2016. AOS: Philosophy of Mind, Metaphysics, or History of Modern Philosophy. AOC: open but preference will be given to those with teaching competency in History of Modern Philosophy (Descartes through Kant) along with Philosophy of Mind or Metaphysics. 3/2 teaching load. Candidates should demonstrate (1) promise of significant publication in AOS and (2) commitment to undergraduate teaching (including participating in our team-taught introductory philosophy courses and courses linked to the TCU Honors College). Ph.D. by time of appointment. Salary competitive. Possibility of internal faculty summer research grants. TCU only accepts on-line applications and materials.
