Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) at NTU Singapore invites qualified academics to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Area of specialisation is open, but we especially welcome applicants in philosophy of science or technology.

The Philosophy Programme offers a full range of programmes from undergraduate major, minor to MA and PhD degrees (http://philosophy.hss.ntu.edu.sg/Pages/default.aspx). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach in the University Scholars Programme, a prestigious, multidisciplinary undergraduate programme (http://scholars.ntu.edu.sg/Pages/default.aspx). The usual workload includes teaching two courses per semester, scholarly research, and university service. NTU offers highly competitive annual salaries and strong support for faculty research, including grants for travel and conferences.
