The Metaphysics of Entanglement, in Nature and in the Divine Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Metaphysics Grade 7: £30,434 per annum Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Metaphysics, to work on the multidisciplinary Project The Metaphysics of Entanglement, in Nature and in the Divine,hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Oxford. The Project is directed by Dr Anna Marmodoro and has as co-investigators Prof Andrew Steane (Oxford), Prof Brian Leftow (Oxford), and Dr Christopher Hughes (King’s College London). The team includes another Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Metaphysics, as well two other Postdoctoral Research Fellows specialising in Philosophy of Physics, and Philosophy of Religion. The Project is supported by funding from the Templeton World Charity Foundation. The postholder will be located in the Faculty of Philosophy, and will work under the guidance of the Director of the Project, Dr Anna Marmodoro. The Fellowship is for the period 1 October 2015 (or soon after) to 30 June 2017, and is not renewable.The particular role of the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be to carry out research on topics and questions in metaphysics relevant to the Project’s goals, as directed by Dr Marmodoro. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be expected to produce a number of publications as a direct consequence of his or her involvement with the Project. The successful applicant will have an outstanding record of research in metaphysics, with evidence of, or evidence of potential for producing, significant research in philosophy, in particular in connection with the Project’s research goals. By the date of appointment, candidates should have received (or have submitted their thesis for) the degree of PhD (or equivalent).
