The Department of Philosophy at Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking candidates for a three-year post-doctoral fellowship associated with the Well-Being Project, contingent on funding. We are looking for philosophers with a special research interest in well-being. The position will begin in Fall 2015. The Fellow is expected to pursue her/his own research under the umbrella of this project, and assist the Project Leader, Dan Haybron, in managing the project, chiefly including the assessment of proposals for support by the project, and in organizing the Project’s workshops and conferences. The Fellow will have the option of teaching up to one course in the Philosophy Department a semester if desired, though no teaching is required. Salary: $50,000.
