Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Nevada, Reno, invites applications for a one-year Lecturer position (with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years) to begin Fall 2015. The teaching load is 4-4.AOS/AOC: Open, but successful candidate must be prepared to teach upper-division survey courses in the history of ethical theory (PHIL 317) and the history of political philosophy (PHIL 318). Ability to teach bioethics, world religions, or other value-theory courses desirable. Applicants must have PhD completed, and be eligible to work in the US, prior to the start of appointment (July 1, 2015).
