Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy. One academic year: September 2015 thru May 2016. Six courses per year, undergraduate teaching. AOS: Ancient Philosophy; AOC: Open. Minimum qualifications: ABD with significant teaching experience. The Department emphasizes the history of philosophy and the lively teaching of primary texts. Successful candidates must be fully committed to working with a diverse student population. Also highly valued are a commitment to the goals of liberal arts education and an enthusiasm for interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and research.
