Job description |
Ormond College at the University of Melbourne, in conjunction with the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies at the University of Melbourne, is seeking to appoint a stipendiary fellow in classical philosophy known as the Seymour Reader in Ancient History – a post established through a bequest by Percy and Beatrice Seymour for ‘instruction in Ancient History and Philosophy’. For the purpose of this appointment we are looking for a Reader who is able to teach Greek Philosophy generally and specifically classical moral philosophy and its application to today’s ethical challenges. The Reader has a salary and superannuation package in the range of ~A$100,000. In addition, the College is able to assist with relocation expenses if required. |
