| Job description |
The department has particular teaching needs in philosophy of science, early modern philosophy before Kant, 19th century philosophy, and feminist philosophy. The Department's research strengths include the History of Philosophy (especially Ancient and Early Modern), the areas associated with the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN), and the Philosophies of Logic and Mathematics. We have a preference for the mentioned teaching and research areas. Candidates who are qualified for a Professorship can upon acceptance of the position apply for promotion. If this application is successful, it will apply retroactively, such that the successful candidate will have been Professor from the start date. |
