Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow, Environmental Ethics (EXPIRED)

The Department of Environmental Studies and the Center for Bioethics invite applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow. The initial appointment will be for one year beginning September 1, 2015, renewable annually for a maximum of three years, pending administrative and budgetary approval. We especially welcome candidates who have worked in environmental studies and bioethics, and also those who have training in such areas as ethics, political philosophy, social and political theory, public policy, or environmental health who have strong or emerging teaching and research interests in environmental studies and bioethics.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate students in environmental studies and masters students in Bioethics, and will actively participate in seminars, conferences, and other projects in the Department and Center.

Eligibility
Applicants must expect to receive their Ph.D by Fall 2015 or have completed it no more than three years before the start date.
