Lecturer* (EXPIRED)

University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.  One non-tenure-stream lecturer position, pending budgetary approval.  Duties will include administration of the undergraduate program, teaching three philosophy courses every year, and assisting the Chair in scheduling and other academic arrangements. We seek an individual who is dedicated to undergraduate instruction and who wants to join a faculty that seeks excellence in undergraduate education. Preference will be given to candidates that have completed their PhD. This position will be on a twelve-month basis, subject to annual review, and it will be full-time, beginning July 1, 2015. A longer-term appointment is possible if the candidate can demonstrate superior skills in teaching and program administration.
